We had a number of small plumbing jobs after the New Year and contacted John. It was the first time we had used his services and found him very helpful, with a professional, no-nonsense approach to the jobs. Costs were very reasonable and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services to anyone who requires them.

I emailed about an awkward washing machine installation. He came round on time and was professional and even talked me through options and such. But in order to finish the job we'd need to buy a longer water hose, so he said once we bought it to rebook. So we did. Second appointment he looked through our window and drove off without saying anything but sending a cancellation text and email. I emailed later asking why he'd cancelled and if I could rearrange for him to come and finish the job only to be told [directly quoted from email] "I cancelled the job because, as far as I could see the pipes had already been fitted!" I replied saying nothing had been fitted and got no reply, I waited half a week before getting someone else in. It's a shame as it was a strong start and friendly handyman only to be let down with what I have to be truthful and say was an unprofessional second appointment.

Excellent service. Outdoor plug socket sorted, took under an hour. Socket seems really high quality, and he was very informative about the product.

A fantastic job was done fitting a replacement shower at incredibly short notice and despite some unforseen issues with the fit, it was all dealt with on the day with no fuss. A 5 star review is very much deserved and I would heartily recommend Tameside Handyman to anyone requiring a professional, high quality service at a fair price.

I made an appointment to have my wash basin taps replaced as 1 had broken. I am v.pleased with the service from John would definitely recommend.

We had a small job done earlier this week it was done efficiently professionally and as usual to a very high standard we also obtained a quote to supply and replace 2 radiators and 2 bathroom taps and we accepted the quote and the job is scheduled to be done.
We have now had the radiators and bathroom taps replaced and once again jobs were done professionally and to a very high standard would not hesitate to recommend and will be using again when we require any work doing in the future
