My wife and myself were staying at a local hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary and pre booked tickets for the run it all weekend. Had a fantastic day on the lovely steam trains. We hopped on and off them at the various stations. We had a tour of the workshops too. Highly recommended.

Fantastic day out for the North Pole express. The staff were wonderful and the whole experience was so well organised. My 2 year old daughter loved it and loved her present from Father Christmas! Nice touch having gluten-free biscuits available as well! Thank you!

All of the staff were so friendly. I had booked an experience on the diesel train for my husband. The two lads who showed him what to do were really polite and informative. My husband thoroughly enjoyed it Came away with a goody bag too and a lovely ride on the train before we left. Would highly recommend.

Great industrial heritage steam line. Very good cafe at East Tanfield station. Lots of industrial steam locos and diesel shunters. Their Run It gala weekend is well worth a visit.

North Pole express. Amazing and magical time had. From the fabulous ticket inspector to the real Santa! Great photo opportunities and wonderful staff.

Excellent day out, East Tanfield station cafe was exceptional Coffee and Mince pie were beautiful. Toatlly enjoyed the day out riding on the Heritage train, will be back for the Photography night
