They are still doing work here so a bit cramped, but the kitchen/restaurant was fine. Food was amazing - salads and one mac and cheese (my (adult) son said it was the best one he'd had). We got a window seat and watched the frogs - could have sat there all day!

Recently visited and was impressed with the quality and variety of hot meals offered and properly cooked, tasted good too. No fast junk food here. Meals were reasonably priced too. Staff polite , friendly and helpful , also was impressed by overall cleanliness of the whole area.

A surprisingly nice service station with a wide range of delicious food. Not cheap but much nicer food than any other service station on the M6 - and kids eat for £1! No big chains but great food, coffee and craft goods. Think of a farm shop & cafes and you are part way there. Oh and dont forget the ducks, pond and a great picture window to sit in. We were travelling with a two year old who ate well (fish chips and peas for £1) and loved the ducks and the “ocean” as he called it. And we got a nice locally produced present for a loved one at the gift shop. Nice break on the journey between Glasgow and Birmingham.

Lovely services with good food and nice coffee. Is a little overpriced but on par with other service stations inflation. Nice outdoor seating and indoors does have a dog friendly zone so can sit in there with dogs too

Highly recommend both North and Southbound. If you want a brew with a view, this is the service station for you. All the products in this service station are locally sourced, you will not find your typical coca cola or Burger king here! The staff are really helpful and the facilities are kept clean.

Enjoyed a drink & snack at the kitchen. Really nice selection of food on offer. Reasonable prices. Staff were very helpful. There is also a farm shop here too 😊

Nice to see a Changing Places Toilet here. Clean & tidy 😊

Plenty of parking. Free for the first 3 hours. Garage here too 😊

Building work was taking place but that didn't stop this being a lovely service station. It was a nice surprise to see it wasn't one of the large service stations but a friendly independent. Lots of local produce served and sold here. We stopped for a meal and the quality of food was excellent, portion sizes good. Its great to see an independent on the motorways and not the huge companies monopolising the system. Would like to see more.

Shame about the service and the coffee. Long lines and staff just ignoring for the most part.
Long ques for simple coffee and tea and dirty looks if you look like you're in a rush...
Overpriced, so so expensive.

Just not worth it, get costa from down the road and go to asda.
