Took a lap top in for repair. It was starting up now and then. Received a phone call lap top was in good condition but needed 150 pounds for repairs. I refused repair and requested I collect it the next day.
Within an hour of our conversation I received a phone call from James saying it was running and the repair charge was 50 pounds as the had got it working (ha ha!)
I started it up worked fine for a few hours. Switched back on this afternoon still have the same problem.
Just beware folks a 50 pound waste of time. He was just lucky it started up for him. No technically qualifications required.
Very disappointed as the repairs do not carry any form of guarantee.
I thought I was just prompting a local business.

Fantastic service! James me informed with every step in repairing both our laptops which had failed at the same time, and no surprises when one of them lost a lot of data which couldn't be recovered. Value for money and saved the expense of a new laptop. Thoroughly recommend them

Fantastic service sorting my 'frozen' Dell Chromebook. Turned out to be more user ignorance than a real issue, but I wasn't made to feel stupid and was not charged despite the trouble the lovely guy went to in order to check that my machine was well. I was so impressed and thankful for their obvious honesty and decency (and patience!). Will highly recommend to friends and family and would definitely use again. Thank you.:)

Contacted Tech-That about repairing my sons laptop case. They were really helpful, communication was brilliant all along. If they couldn’t get hold of me on the phone, they would also message me, and quoted before carrying out any work. The price quoted was very good and the quality of the work was fantastic! Will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them for anyone needing repairs!

I contacted Tech-That because my Tablet had frozen completely inspite of my trying various things i.e Utube videos etc. I spoke with Paul who was friendly and approachable. Paul advised me to leave my Tablet over-night to investigate and he would let me know the outcome the following day. I'm happy to say that the fault was found and problem resolved after a great amount of effort.
10 out of10, what a great team!

Took my HP pavilion tower to Tech That yesterday as my computer had stopped working completely. James diagnosed the issues the same day and I am now back up and working! Have already recommended to friends for speed, experience and overall customer service, thank you!

I am a customer of Tech-that. My receipt number was IN8005. I visited Tech-that earlier in the year when my regular tech fixer was in holiday.
It was a new business in the village & the premises looked very smart & professional so I thought I would give it a try.
I made initial contact & the owner knew when I was arriving & greeted me.
I was blown away by how professional the premises were, for anybody who hasn’t been, please take a look.
I had battery issues in my son’s phone. Nigel always looks at the items first I was told & gives a quote before any work is carried out to ensure satisfaction with price etc.
I left my phone with him & he offered extra services eg backing items up etc.
The phone was fixed within 24 hours.
My early finish day at work is a Monday, which was a day that Tech-that used to be shut. He arranged for a neighbouring business owner to open the premises especially for me & to take payment & give me my receipt.
I was really impressed.
I realise that it has taken a time for me to leave this review, but I was disappointed to see a ‘campaign of bad reviews’ from people from a gaming site trying to discredit this excellent and local business.
When looking at the reviews and deciding if you should use Tech-that, please read all the positive reviews & balance them against the ‘campaign reviews’ and make your own decision.
I thoroughly recommend this business.
