The repair of my iPad Pro 12.9 took longer than expected. Initially, they said it would take a few days, but I didn't hear back and had to follow up multiple times. The entire process stretched to a month due to the need to order parts for the model. Despite the delay, I given them 5 stars because the repair was completed professionally as preciously it was sent to another provider whom had explained it was beyond economical repair and it was more affordable than other options. I was patient and didn't need it urgently .

Update, I got an email the day after I posted this review with a promise that I'd get an update in a week. That was Dec 13. Today is Dec 24.

I have lost all hope that I will ever get my property back. I effectively paid them to steal my property.

TL;DR: I'm sure they do great work if you are local. DO NOT mail your phone into them. Their communication with customers is non-existent at worst, dismal at best.

I've really, REALLY been holding off on posting this review but they have not been answering my emails or calling me and have basically stolen my phone at this point (I have asked multiple times for it to be returned and they are ignoring me) so maybe this will get their attention.

I won't bore you with everything but here are some details: I mailed my water damaged phone to them in September with a fritzy screen in hopes to get it repaired. The repair needed was a new screen and charging port and cost would be more than the price of a new phone (with offers at the time.) I asked them to send it back instead of completing the repairs. Returning it to me took over a month and many emails and phone calls from me. When I received the phone back, it wouldn't turn on AT ALL (not even registering on my computer that it was plugged in). I called TGC to see what could be done and after nearly an hour of back and fourth, I was told to send it back to them and they would put a "parts only" screen back on my phone so it would at least turn on so I could retrieve the data and wipe the phone. I was TOLD that I would get the phone back within a week. That was October 10th. I have only heard from them 1 time since then. Could I have followed up more? Yes, I could have. Could THEY, the BUSINESS have followed up more? Yes, they could have.

As of now, I have emailed 5 times since early November and I have not heard from them but 1 time. They will not respond to me, they will not send me my phone back.

Do not send your items to them. If you take them in person the experience might be better but do not mail in your items. You likely will never see them again.
