I trusted them with a very expensive coat, they called me to collect the coat on x2 different occasions, both times they prevented me with other people's coats, not mine. I was left feeling extremely stressed r.e the whereabouts of my item, the communication was poor and I was not offered any discount or compensation despite the repeated errors made. It took 4 weeks and numerous visits and phone calls for me to get my item back, the item was only retrieved once the shop was under new management. I would not recommend you leave any items of worth with this business unfortunately, hopefully the new management will see a much needed improvement in service levels.

Excellent workmanship from Zip Yard Altrincham. I took in a netball dress to be made smaller. I honestly didn't think it could be altered due to the stretchy fabric but I was proved wrong. It really looks good and fits well now. Thank you

Outstanding service from Zip Yard, Altrincham. I took three torn pieces of a wool belt which I was at a loss to know how to fix. Beautiful leather sections were attached to the old woollen pieces and my belt has been transformed - it looks wonderful once again on my much loved coat. Thank you. Lisa Farrell.

Took my Ralph Lauren gillet in which had a sizeable rip on the front of it. It was a last ditch attempt before having to fork out £300 on a new one. I left it with them and after a few days it wa steady to collect. To my amazement it looked brand new and the rip had completely been repaired. So a quick turn around, with perfect craftsmanship and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Great service and result. I needed 4 pairs of suit trousers repairing, tapering, re-hemming and taking in at the waist and the quality of work is excellent. Took around a week and a half to complete but it was a number of jobs and I was in no rush so not an issue. Price was reasonable. I would highly recommend to others

Did a fantastic job of repairing the lining on my Carhartt Jacket that had developed two big tears, Staff were lovely and very helpful, Would reccomend this place. I've deducted one star though as I feel it is rather expensive, at £30 for this job, but I wouldn't hesitate to return. Thanks!

Excellent workmanship by Goshi.
I had a silk suit altered and a skirt taken up, the stitching is invisible.
Lovely owner/ manager, highly recommend.
Ps. Good to get Goshi to do the fitting instore!

Brilliant, highly recommend! Dropped off my favourite coat to get a replacement zip, the lady explained I didn't need the whole zip replacing that the problem was only with the slider so I was super happy as it meant it was cheaper than I thought so I left my jacket and was told I could pick it up a short while later. Super quick fix! I was expecting to pick it up another day not the same day, overjoyed, thank you so much zip yard!
