She gave me some hair treatment and I felt very pampered. Then she cut my hair exactly how I wanted it and styled it beautifully. I walked out feeling amazing. I had the most transformative experience at Toni & Guy in Altrincham. I initially went in for a consultation needing a color correction—my hair had been left completely messed up by a previous hairdresser with stained purple, orange, and pink hues. I was desperate to achieve a perfect white blonde, knowing it’s a difficult task, and I couldn’t have been more relieved when the team truly understood my vision.

Holly conducted a thorough consultation and immediately grasped what I was aiming for. Then, Sarah worked her magic with a scalp bleach that turned out absolutely PERFECT. Finally, Charlotte delivered the ideal haircut and blow-dry, crafting my style exactly how I wanted it. I left the salon feeling incredibly valued, with shiny, healthy hair despite three rounds of bleach. It was, without a doubt, the best feeling ever.

During my time in a salon, I noticed that the stylist often prioritized speed over precision. When using the straightening iron, she would take large sections of hair instead of smaller ones, which affected the final result. Popped in to the Altrincham branch when visiting the area. They were able to fit me in almost immediately. My hairdresser was Louise. We had a consultation beforehand during which we chatted, she listened and gave great advice. Result was a cut exactly as I wanted. Great experience overall. Booked a last minute appointment with Holly, she was fab - I’m not a regular client but she made me feel at ease, listened to what I wanted, and gave me good and honest advice on the best products to use for the condition of my hair, and styling tips so I could recreate what she had done at home. I come here as I'm mixed race (white/ Caribbean). I'm careful who I trust with my hair and even after moving away to a different area 3 years ago, I still come here. Sarah does a fantastic job and is so quick at it too. My hair is a weird type of curly and I used to dread getting it cut, but I now always look forward to it. It looks great and it's healthier.
I'd give it a 6th star just for Sarah, if I could. Please give her a raise. My hair is fab within 30-45mins (including drying). If you have any staff that is mixed race, they'll know how much it's appreciated (seriously, we can go on for hours about hair care when we get together).
