I detoured to go here because of the reviews. My experience wasn't great. I took in my son's Google Pixel 6a as it had a cracked screen. They said it would be £25 to diagnose the issue and they'd call me when they'd investigated. I asked how much a new screen would be, as if it was over £100 I wouldn't bother leaving it, as the phone is old and it's not worth it. They said they couldn't tell me until they'd diagnosed it. I left it there at 10am and then I popped in again the next day to find out what was going on as no one had been in touch. They said they'd call me.

That afternoon they called and told me the phone had a cracked screen. That's what they'd diagnosed. For £25. Which you could see by just looking at it. And what it was in for. And that a new good screen would be £300. I said that's nuts. So they offered a less good screen for £240. In the end I bought a new Pixel 8a for £300 and then got an official replacement screen from iFixit £80 and did it myself and will keep the phone as a backup.

They were nice enough, but the communication wasn't great, I don't know they wouldn't tell me the price of a new screen when I asked and then the fees for repairing the phone were more than a new one. As a new Google screen is £80 retail the labour is £220, and the job takes about 15 minutes. That's expensive. Maybe if you have a £1,000 phone this would be worth it but for regular phones this is crazy mad. Not a great experience. I won't be going back.
