Fantastic service! I called Kevin the day before, explaining that I urgently needed a battery change for my machine. After speaking with a few people, Kevin was the only one who used new, genuine Apple parts and was able to fit me in the very next day, completing the job within an hour.

Outstanding service and a great local business! I’ll be taking all my machines there from now on. Highly recommended!

My iMac wouldn’t turn on, so I contacted Wefixmacs for help. I didn’t get an answer initially (which should’ve been a red flag), but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and visit their shop. Kevin, the technician, suggested the issue was the power supply and promised to fix it by December 28. I dropped off my iMac on the 23rd, understanding the Christmas closure, but emphasised that I urgently needed my files. He provided a USB to keep with some files and reassured me the repair would be done on time.

December 28 came with no update. I called, and Kevin admitted he’d made a mistake, saying it would be ready by the 30th. On the 30th, still no word. With deadlines coming, I had no choice but to buy a second-hand Mac. Kevin finally told me on January 2 that the repair was done, over a week late.

To make matters worse, less than 24 hours after collecting my iMac, it had the exact same problem. Despite videos and messages sent to Kevin, he didn’t respond and left me on read. I had to pay taxi (£40 extra) to get to his office, he claimed the issue was now the hard drive and was not his fault. He offered to fix it again, but I had already lost trust. I was also away, so another visit wasn’t an option.

If the issue was indeed related to my hard drive, I would have expected him to identify and communicate this earlier to me especially since he mentioned that he had tested the device multiple times and confirmed it was ready for collection. It seemed very much like a tactic that many repair services do to gain more money by saying you got more problems…

After two weeks of delays, wasted time, and £100 spent on the repair, I went to another repair service. In less than two hours, they resolved the issue, recovered all my data, and provided excellent communication throughout, something Wefixmacs’s was lacking.

Kevin’s poor communication, lack of honesty about repair collections, and failure to resolve the issue were completely unprofessional. No refund was offered, and the entire ordeal left me stressed, behind on work and regretting my decision to trust them.

Lesson learned: Do your research before choosing a repair service! Don’t rely on all the 5 star reviews I am starting to think some of them are a bit too exaggerated and might of even removed the bad reviews to hide it…

Kevin was so helpful, had spilled an energy drink on my laptop and thought it would be irreparable.
Was so happy they were able to repair my machine like new and didn't need a data recovery, have all my photos of my daughter when she was tiny and I hadn't backed them up....)
Also was much cheaper than expected which was really helpful in January.

I have never wrote a review for anyone, but if anyone deserves it, its Kevin. My husband approached him when my MacBook Pro wouldn't switch on. He told us to bring it in first thing in morning which is what I did. Within 30 minutes Kevin had identified the problem and within the 1 hour he had also solved it. The most important this, I had taken the laptop to Apple who had removed the battery and couldn't identfy the problem and the next step was to erase my Mac and reinstall the software. Let me tell you, I had an interview with my presentation and many important documents and files that I would lose as I did not have a backup (wouldn't expect this issue to occur as I have another Mac 10+ years still going strong). Had I gone ahead with Apple, I would have lost everything. Kevin, you have literally saved the day and you are God's gift and your passion and talent truly shows. Please continue to do what you do. Thank you so much!

Just got back from a Stourbridge to Brum excursion to meet Kevin.
I can honestly say, I cannot fault his business 'We Fix Macs'.
What a breath of fresh air to experience a professional, reliable and honest service at a competitive price.
The price I was quoted, was the price I paid.
My iPhone was fixed within the hour and to a standard I couldn't even get near myself, even if I had all day to do the job.
Kevin is one of those guys you could talk to all day, and I nearly did.
We Fix Macs are now my go to place to get my laptop and phone fixed.

Had a screen issue with my 2017 Mac and was at my wits end trying to get a repair done for cheaper than what Apple were charging. Kevin was the only Birmingham based business that got back to me. V affordable price and I even went for a storage upgrade too. Been a couple of weeks now and it’s like a brand new laptop. Cannot thank Kevin enough, great guy!

Kevin really k owes his Mac’s, my Mac book pro screen was replaced in double quick time at a very affordable cost. In fact less that a third of the charge that Apple wanted. Definitely recommend to anybody with a Mac issue.
