I visited the Wickes Kitchen section of the store and left my details for a follow-up, as the team was out on visits. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response. I called several times and was told that the Kitchen Design team would get back to me, but again, there was no follow-up. On 18/11/24, I emailed Martin (Design Consultant), but he did not get e response up to now.

I then went to the store and the first thing i said was, "your customer care is the worst." To my surprise, the man i was talking with asked if I was Mr. Clive XXX, before I had introduced myself. It turned out that this person was Martin. However, he was not helpful at all and simply referred me to Symphony Kitchens. To make matters worse, he wrote this referral on a Wickes business card and also directed me to the website to place an order.

This has been my worst experience as a customer. I know exactly what I want from Wickes, which is why I kept trying to follow up. However, the lack of communication and support has been extremely disappointing.

The customer journey with this Aylesbury store was abysmal. The main issue is with the front desk staff and the management. There is a toxic environment amongst the staff, the staff clearly have zero respect for their management, and the customers alike.
Scruffy looking staff, no name badges on any one of their members, including the management. To be frank, I'd rather take my 20k and flush it down the toilet than spend a penny for that experience, avoid avoid avoid avoid! This is not what Wicks would expect from their staff or their management, disgraceful.

Always got plenty of stock, but there's a lady manager who really could do with smiling once in a while and provide some customer service.... rather than snarl at everyone and be rude.

The home I.provement centre is located in the busy retail park. It offers all you could need to complete your home improvement project and much much more.
This branch also includes a kitchen showroom.
There is also a Tapi carpets within this branch for all your flooring, carpets, laminates requirements.

27 year old gardener, came in work clothes for a pair of garden secateurs. They refused to sell me without ID. Absolute joke, this country is finished and I'm never going into Wickes again.

After calling customer services who were friendly and helpful, I was advised that I could return my faulty click and collect item to store and they would be happy to exchange for me. How wrong customer services were, store staff were not happy at all. They could not have been less interested or less friendly. Barely scraping to be the least bit helpful. Dismissive, interrupting and wandering off mid explanation are not acceptable behaviours for customer service. I feel I cannot blame the woman on the till as the manager appeared and is clearly the role model for the Wickes team at Aylesbury. His attitude actually made me smile as it reminded me of that beloved 90s teenage character Kevin aka Harry Enfield. Being a Wickes store manager is clearly SO UNFAIR!! As this is not the first time receiving this kind of customer service here it is a huge relief that you can use click and collect and reduce time spent in store. Reduces the possibility of my browsing and buying more though which I am sure any store manager would be concerned by.
