Shocking customer service from their kitchen team.

Went into the Thurmaston branch around 2 months ago, not a single member of staff willing to speak to us, just kept saying if you want help book an appointment.

Guess what I tried to book an appointment just for the woman on the phone who just constantly tried to fob me off. She did not want to give us an appointment I was left on hold for 5 minutes whilst she went off to check my options she came back and was adamant we didn’t need an appointment and just said come into store with your measurements. After the first time we went into store and told nothing can be done without an appointment I wasn’t impressed with what she was saying so asked outright why is there a problem in giving an appointment!? More waffle and non answers I got fed up and called another branch. Spoke to a great guy at the South Wigston branch that had excellent customer service and gave us an appointment straight away.

Avoid the Thurmaston branch they don’t give a crap about customer service.

Modern day criminal enterprise!! Two years from hell!!!
Never known a company like it - If your thinking of getting a bathroom from these avoid like the plague. They don’t use wickes employees it just cowboy traders (contractors) they get in representing wickes to do the bathroom.
Honestly don’t know where to start.
Customer service or lack of was absolutely vile, just passes you from one person to the next for months on end with no result confronting and just lies after lies with no result and always promising a manager call back that never happens. If you think you have the backing of a big company when something goes wrong think again!!
Took over two years to finally complete it and is still faulty now ended up paying another local company to come in a put it right as wickes customer service was non existent.
If you don’t take my word for it look at the thousands of reviews on trust pilot for wickes will all say the same thing.

A well stocked branch of a great store. Items are conveniently laid out as one would imagine the typical wickes store would be. Prices are ever growing (as usual in the UK) but I have found quite a few items that are priced higher in BandQ. So not all too bad. Also, staff don’t glare at you like you’re some kind of thief when you walk out empty handed- which is nice for a change.

Good store. I mostly do click and collect. However staff have helped me get refunds when I’d ordered things online but decided they weren’t fit for the job.

Received several orders from the Thurmaston store in recent weeks. Each time items were missing from the order an no one contacts you even after going through customer services. No automatic refund was given either.

I received a further order last week and several packs of insulation were soaked through. A week later after complaining I still have no response from them. I had to go and purchase more from another store whilst awaiting contact.

Very disappointing service the last three times I've used them this month.
