I've been a frequent visitor mainly to fix a teenagers 1 phone cracked screen, always greeted with a smile and 1st class service every time.

I've currently just upgraded my sons phone by part exchanging and again my experience has been amazing.
If your looking for value for money with a 1st class genuine service, knowing that customer satisfaction is what counts to this owner (more than profit and a quick fix and a made up price) then I highly recommend using York Phone Repairs...
Nothing is too much trouble and no question is a silly one if your like me not techno, visit once and I'm sure you will be a lifelong customer 😉

A really disappointing experience.

I needed a screen replacement on a Google Pixel, so with the convenience of the location, I dropped the phone in and the initial repair was quick; however, the replacement screen disabled the fingerprint sensor. I took the phone back in and a new screen replacement was arranged. Once the new screen was on, the fingerprint sensor was still not working, so I asked about this. I was told the phone must have disabled it, not the screen replacement. The PIN needed to be entered after the work was done, so I couldn't check the fingerprint sensor until after I got home, at which time it didn't work.

I took the phone to an official Google repair location, and they told me that the replacement part was a knock-off and the fingerprint sensor wouldn't work. Even if the part had been genuine, it would need recalibrating. When inspected, it turned out that screws were missing after the initial "repair", and parts were bent.

I was offered a 50% refund of the fix, despite never being told that a dodgy, non-genuine part would be used.

Overall, it cost me a fortune to have a crappy job done, before I then had to get it fixed by someone that actually knew what they were doing.

Took my phone in for a charging port replacement and the work was done promptly (45 mins) and at a reasonable price. Very pleased 🙂

Can't Recommend this guy enough he fixed my wife's Neo40 edge with a new screen . After waiting for another phone repair shop over a month .
York phone repairs fixed it on the day promised & it was cheaper than expected .
He also replaced my iPhone screen the following day for a good price .
Excellent customer service can't fault them in the least very impressed

Poor experience here the other day which is a shame because they’ve provided me with decent service in the past, absolutely lost a customer. Took my iPhone 7 in because the plastic cover over my camera kept falling out, not the end of the world just irritating. Paid £20 to have this rectified, didn’t realise until I was back at the other side of York that the camera now wouldn’t focus when the camera quality was fine that morning. Rang the shop and spoke to Andy that did the repair who said he didn’t cause this damage but I could go back and pay £30 for a new camera compartment, quite shocked I said okay and finished the call, got angry so called back and spoke to a lady who said I could take it back and they could try and change the plastic cover again, I considered it but at this point I didn’t want to get back there to potentially be charged again. Went elsewhere, turned out there was glue on the camera preventing it from being able to zoom in and out, it needed a new camera because of the damage caused at York Phone Repairs and removing the glue still didn’t fix the issue. I did get a refund but was told by Andy he wanted my old broken camera compartment, when I asked him why I got no response. Really cold reception in the shop, wouldn’t go back. Photos are of the gluey camera compartment that was fine until I went here.

EDIT - Unfortunately Google wont give me an option to respond to the response that I got to my review. This guy (as already described as in another review) is a cowboy, has made me out to be a liar and IS in the wrong.
PC Revamp is 100% the phone repair shop to go to 😊

Got my s23 screen replaced. The owner was spot on, we had a good chat whilst he was fixing my phone. Very polite and had my phone fixed in a day. Definitely recommend. Phone is all sorted now. Cheers pal

Great place for repairs, I smashed my Pixel Camera glass on the back, rang and they knew exactly what was needed. Ordered the part and it arrived within a day, rang me back to arrange getting it sorted at the shop and at a great price. Highly reccomend and will use if needed in the future. Paul.
