Our windscreen wiper broke in the snow. The friendly and helpful chap at Young Motors ordered us a new one which arrived same day and helped us fit it (as I am useless with car stuff). A pleasure to deal with and meant we could enjoy our holiday without interruption.

Car brake fluid top up light came on. Garage could not have been more helpful to a complete stranger. Made two phone calls to check which was the correct brake fluid and then only charged for materials. Many thanks.

Today we had the misfortune of. Flat tyre on our campervan and drove straight to this garage. We retuned to find that the problem was a faulty valve but it stopped leaking when tyre was submerged ! they couldn’t replace as they had no metal valves .they suggested we keep an eye on it and take to first available tyre centre Their only charge was for a donation to mountain rescue .
I don’t know of any other garage that would do that for free .

I am local and I was struggling to find a good garage around the area.
I brought my car two times recently to this garage.
Both of the times they gave me a really good service. Very honest person and good price.
I have recommend this garage to a few friends and they now all think the same way.
Even if i live in Bowness, still worthy to come to Ambleside.
Very happy with them.

Quick fix required for a screw embedded in tyre. Drove there hoping to book for following day. Assessed and took in vehicle there and then. Tyre fixed later that afternoon. Excellent friendly service and outstanding value. Thanks.

Went here with a simple problem, and the guy I spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful, explained how to resolve my issue and didn't charge me anything. I don't know how they are with bigger issues but the impression left was very positive.
